The binder is plated on a steel core by means of a process of electro deposition.
Given that the retention of the abrasive is assured with Nickel, the grains can stand out of the level of the binder, between 30 % and 45 % of the diameter of the abrasive.
The fact that the grain stands out so much, confers to the millstone a high cutting capacity . Its roughness, active, is very high, but it also generates roughness in the rectified surface. As the millstone is being used, it looses cutting capacity, due to the fact that it only possesses a layer of abrasive. But it is ideal for rectifications with fixed geometries.
The most usual applications for this type of wheels, are:
MANUFACTURE PROGRAM
LIMES AND DIAMONDS LIMES.
WHEELS WITH PROFILE.
ROLLERS FOR CERAMICS WHEELS.
COARSE RECTIFICATIONS AND WITH SHORT SHAVING.
CRUDE TUNGSTEN CARBIDES.
FERRITES.
CERAMICS MAGNETIC MATERIALS.
FIBRE GLASSES AND TERMOSTABLE PLASTICS .
Asinsa, makes any with with electro deposited binder. Under plane or study.
